"Spit It Out" by Slipknot played in the background as the WPW Sunday Night on ESPN2 graphic comes up on the screen then fades away but not completely as a fast paced montage of WPW action including; Masato Tanaka hitting the Roaring Elbow on Mike Awesome, Al Snow smashing away at Sting's arm with a chair, Booker T drilling Kurt Angle with a Neckwrecker, The Acolytes putting Jeff Hardy through a table, the LWO beating down an opponent, Ken Shamrock with the Ankle Lock on Triple H, Mike Awesome with an Over-The-Top-Rope Awesome Bomb, Kidman pinning Ric Flair, Sting hitting the Scorpion Death Drop on Al Snow, Kurt Angle with all his gold, Chris Benoit raising the King Of Kings trophy, The Hardy Boyz with the Twist Of Fate and Swanton Bomb, Triple H hitting the Pedigree on Goldberg, Chris Jericho hitting a Lionsault on Goldberg, Goldberg spearing Jericho, Mick Foley hitting Goldberg in the head with a chair and much, much more.  The WPW Sunday Night on ESPN2 logo fades back into full then explodes...

'ONE! TWO! ZIS ON?!' sounded to open up the show as the WPW World Heavyweight Champion, 'The Game' Triple H and the WPW Intercontinental Champion, Kurt Angle emerged from the entrance and headed out to the ring where Triple H would take a microphone...

Triple H:  "Oh how the mighty have fallen, Goldberg, Chris Jericho, I thought the two of you were on the same page?  But after last week I somehow doubt that after Goldberg speared Chris Jericho in the middle of the ring that you two would be buddy-buddy.  All of a sudden, Holiday Hell just swayed more in favor of The Game because no longer will it be a two-on-one assault but what it's intended to be, a Three Way Dance.  However, there's not going to be any dancing or any fun come Holiday Hell, it's going to be just that PURE HELL for you Goldberg and you, Chris Jericho because as much as you two want this belt?  You can't have it because you can't beat me and you won't beat me because I am THE GAME because I'm simply that DAMN GOOD!"

Kurt Angle:  "People, please, save your applause until after your Olympic Hero has spoken.  Thank you.  As it appears your Intercontinental Champion will be defending his belt at Holiday Hell against Booker T.  Booker T, here's a guy that I've beaten not once but twice on Pay-Per-View.  Here's a guy that I've proved time and time again doesn't belong in the ring with an Olympic Gold Medalist and American Hero.  And Booker, if you so dare as to mention my mother again then I will not be held responsible for my actions, I won't, it's true.  And come Holiday Hell, the drama will be just how many seconds it takes for me to pin your shoulders to the mat and retain my Intercontinental Championship and that is TRUE!"

Triple H:  "As for tonight, I thought that being the giving man that I am, I'd like to give you fans a preview of the beating that Goldberg and Chris Jericho are going to receive at Holiday Hell so tonight, I want a Tag Team Three Way Dance.  In one corner, it will be The Game and Kurt Angle, in another, Goldberg and a partner and in the third, Y2Jack-off and a partner.  Once again The Elite will do what we always do and that is reign supreme and NO ONE can stop us, not Jericho, not Goldberg, NO ONE!"

We then headed to the announcers position with Scott Hudson and Jerry "The King" Lawler.  Hudson and Lawler hyped the show saying that Commissioner Ric Flair has several big annoucements later tonight plus a whole ton of action here tonight on WPW Sunday Night...

Opening Match: Al Snow v. Scotty Taylor.  "What Is Fight Club?" by Dust Brothers brought Al Snow out to the ring first.  Then, "Country Grammar" by Nelly blared over the PA as Scotty "Too Hotty" Taylor headed out to the ring.  Snow and Taylor went back and forth mainly on the mat.  The ending would see Al Snow go for a clothesline but Scotty ducked and hit a faceslam.  Scotty then hit the WORM on Snow for the one...two...THR...kickout!  Taylor argued with the referee about the count then turned around and got caught with a superkick from Snow.  Snow then locked Taylor in a Cross Arm Scissors.  Taylor writhed in pain but got to the ropes.  Snow picked up Taylor and went for the Snow Plow but Taylor countered it with a small package for two.  Taylor got up first and hit a side russian legsweep on Snow.  Taylor picked up Snow and hit the Hip Hop Drop (Meltdown) for the one, two, and three!  Scotty Taylor picks up a strong win...

Eddy Guerrero:  "Masato Tanaka, you crossed the line, esay.  You cost the Latino World Order two important matches last week, man and I'm sure as hell not gonna stand for it!  I ain't gonna sit for it or especially lay down for it!  Masato Tanaka, here's the way it's going to be.  Your going to bring your ass to Holiday Hell with whatever schmuck you can find to team with you and face myself, Eddy Guerrero and my nephew, Chavito Guerrero Jr. in a tag team match to settle this thing once and for all.  Esay, I'm SICK and TIRED of your attacks and if it means putting you in a wheel chair to make you stop, then so be it!"

Match #3: Dean Malenko (c) v. Kaz Hayashi - WPW Television Title.  "Change" by Deftones sounded over the PA as the WPW Television Champion, 'The Shooter' Dean Malenko made his way out to the ring for a title defense against the former champion.  "Somebody Someone" by KoRn brought the former champ, Kaz Hayashi of the Jung Dragons out to the ring.  This was another good match in a series between these two men, close as usual.  The ending would see Malenko nail Hayashi with a leg lariat for a two count.  Malenko took Hayashi up top and nailed a gutbuster for another near fall.  Malenko then took Hayashi back up top for a superplex but Kaz shoved Malenko down.  Kaz jumped off with a flying frankensteiner but Malenko blocked it and turned it into a tiger driver for the one ... two ... THREE!  Dean Malenko retains the WPW Television Title.

Jung Dragons.  "La Raza" hit as Juventud Guerrera and Papi Chulo of the Latino World Order headed out to the ring.  Then, "Somebody Someone" by KoRn brought out Jinsei Shinzaki and Tatsuhito Takaiwa of the Jung Dragons.  This would be a very good fast paced tag team match between two of the top teams in WPW.  The closing moments of the match would see Papi Chulo attempt a Moonsault on Takaiwa but Takaiwa got the knees up.  Takaiwa then went for the Takaiwa Driver but Juvy came in and dropkicked Takaiwa in the knees.  Papi fell down the back and hit a reverse DDT.  Papi and Takaiwa crawled over to their corners and made tags.  Juvy ran at Shinzaki but got caught with a thrust kick!  Shinzaki then set up Juvy for the Praying Power Bomb and DDT counter by Juvy!  JUVY DRIVER! ONE! TWO! THREE!  The LWO pulls out the win over the Jung Dragons!

  'Sprach Zarathustra...'

With the sound of that familiar music the Commissioner of World Professional Wrestling, 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair walked out of the entrance and headed into the ring where he took the microphone...

Ric Flair:  "Ya know, some nights as Commissioner I get to sit back, have a few cold ones and enjoy the show but tonight as we're just over two weeks away from Holiday Hell live on Pay-Per-View, I've got some business to take care of.  The first order of business is to officially sign, seal and announce a few matches for the show.  In a Street Fight, The Unholy Alliance will face off against The Acolytes.  There will be no rules and these two teams will find out who is the toughest.  Next, there's been a lot of speculation as to whom will get a World Tag Team Titles shot and it's been a tough decision but I've narrowed it down to two so we're going to have ourselves a Three Way Dance for the titles with The Hardy Boyz defending against the Jung Dragons' Jinsei Shinzaki & Tatsuhito Takaiwa and the Latino World Order's Juventud Guerrera & Papi Chulo.  Now I move onto a match proposed last week, 'The Crippler' Chris Benoit and 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Man' Ken Shamrock settling their feud inside of the Lion's Den.  When I heard this I thought to myself, this is going to be bloody, this is going to be physically demanding, this going to be hell for each man and neither may be the same after it so I thought to myself, would the fans of WPW want it any other way?  I didn't think so, so I signed the match!  Benoit, Shamrock, each of you need to announce a cornerman and you need to do that right about now!"

Ken Shamrock appears on the big screen...

Ken Shamrock:  "Ric Flair, as long-winded as you are, you finally did something right and signed Chris Benoit's career away.  Benoit, your career is in my hands when you step into my world.  As far as my corner goes, that's easy, the man that has guided my career over the past months, the man that is the driving force behind The Elite, the owner of WPW, MICK FOLEY!"

"Surfacing" by Slipknot then blasted through the loudspeakers as 'The Crippler' Chris Benoit headed out of the entrance and into the ring where he got a microphone...

Ric Flair:  "Chris, Shamrock has named Mick Foley as his cornerman, now it's your turn.  How do you plan on counteracting Foley?"

Chris Benoit:  "That's simple, Ric.  I've picked a man that is the greatest of all-time.  A man that has helped guide my career and has done a tremendous amount to help counteract the power of The Elite.  A man that holds as much clout in WPW as Foley and that man, is 'The Man' and 'The Man' is you Ric Flair..."

Ric Flair:  "Haha ... WHOOOOO!  Me?  Ric Flair?  In your corner? WHOOOO!  Sounds like a plan, Benoit, sounds like a damn good plan if you ask me, pal.  Mick Foley, if you had any intentions on screwing around with this match, well you better watch yourself because 'The Nature Boy' will be watching your every move, pal.  As for tonight, I know the two of you can't wait to tear eachother apart so tonight Chris Benoit you will team up with Sting to face Ken Shamrock and Kidman! WHOOOO!  I'm Ric Flair!  He's Chris Benoit!  WHOOOOO!  Shamrock, Foley, you're finished! WHOOOOO!"

Match #5: The Hardy Boyz (c) v. Latino World Order - WPW World Tag Team Titles.  "La Raza" hit as Eddy Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero Jr. of the Latino World Order headed out to the ring.  Then, "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit brought out the WPW World Tag Team Champions, The Hardy Boyz to the ring.  A high flying encounter between these two daredevil teams.  The closing moments of the match would see The Hardyz go for the Poetry In Motion on Eddy but Guerrero dodged out of the corner.  Eddy tossed Jeff out of the ring then caught Matt with a lariat.  Eddy hit a brain buster on Matt then went up top for the Frog Splash but saw Masato Tanaka coming out of the entrance.  Matt got up and crotched Eddy up top.  Matt tagged in Jeff.  Matt hit a superplex on Eddy then Jeff came off with the SWANTON BOMB!  Chavo tried to come in but Masato Tanaka tripped him up as the referee counted the three.

WINNERS: The Hardy Boyz in 5:16.

Rating: *** 1/4

(The Hardy Boyz retained the WPW World Tag Team Titles.)

After the match, Juventud Guerrera and Papi Chulo hit the ring and jumped Tanaka rolling him into the ring.  The four LWO guys then turned their attack to The Hardy Boyz laying out the World Tag Team Champions.  The LWO continued the assualt until Masato Tanaka and The Hardy Boyz were left laying in the ring...

Backstage:

-Michael Cole got some comments from Goldberg about who's going to be his tag team partner later.  Goldberg said it was an accident that he speared Jericho but it put Jericho out and come Holiday Hell or tonight, he won't hesitate to do the same.  Goldberg said he's never asked for any help before and he's not starting tonight so unless someone wants to step up then he'll go it alone.  BOOKER T would then walk in and told Goldberg that he's found himself a partner because wherever Kurt Angle is, Booker T will be and Booker wants his hands on Angle at any price.

Match #6: Tajiri v. Bradshaw.  "Bombtrack" by Rage Against The Machine blared over the PA as 'The Japanese Buzzsaw' Tajiri made his way out along with Sinister Minister.  Then, "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath blasted through the loudspeakers as Bradshaw of The Acolytes came out to the ring.  The Acolytes and Unholy Alliance's ongoing feud continues here and at Holiday Hell in a Street Fight.  Tajiri and Bradshaw traded shots back and forth with Tajiri using his kicks on Bradshaw while Bradshaw countered with his hard blows.  The ending would see Tajiri hits kicks to the legs of Bradshaw weakening him then went for a Brain Buster but Bradshaw blocked it and hit a suplex on Tajiri.  Bradshaw then went for the Clothesline From Hell but Tajiri ducked out of the way!  Bradshaw turned around and caught Tajiri with the Clothesline From Hell anyways and made the cover for the one ... two ... thr ... Sinister Minister pulls out the referee and knocks him out!  Mikey Whipwreck ran in with a chain on his hand and went to work on Bradshaw until FAAROOQ ran into the ring and cleared it of The Unholy Alliance!!!

WINNER: Bradshaw in 3:06.

Rating: ** 1/4

Backstage:

-Michael Cole got some comments from Chris Jericho about who he's going to get as his tag team partner.  Jericho told Mitchell Cole to shut up and mind his own business.  Jericho said that after he got speared and Pedigree'd last week, he did some thinking and he thinks that he remembers two occasions where Goldberg was on his back and Y2J was declared the winner.  Y2J also remembers having Triple H down for the count on numerous occasions.  As for tonight, Jericho said he's found himself a partner, an equalizer, and an old friend but we're just going to have to wait to see who it is.

Match #7: Ken Shamrock & Kidman v. Chris Benoit & Sting.  "Stress" by Godsmack blared over the PA as The Elite's 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Man' Ken Shamrock and Kidman made their way out to the ring first along with Mick Foley.  Then, "Surfacing" by Slipknot blasted through the loudspeakers as 'The Crippler' Chris Benoit and Sting headed out together for this tag team matchup.  Shamrock and Benoit will face in a Lion's Den match at Holiday Hell while Kidman will face Sting in a 2 out of 3 Falls match at the show.  A solid match between the two men.  The closing moments of the match would see Shamrock go for a belly-to-belly suplex but Benoit blocked it with a headbutt then hit rolling german suplexes on Shamrock and got a two count on the third.  Benoit then locked on the Crippler Crossface but Foley jumped up on the apron and distracted the referee.  This brought out RIC FLAIR!  Flair got in Foley's face and the two exchanged words.  While this was going on, Kidman grabbed a chair from ringside and blasted Benoit in the back of the head.  Sting chased Kidman out of the ring and up the ramp.  The referee turned around as Shamrock covered Benoit for the one, two, and THREE!

WINNERS: The Elite in 7:07.

Afterwards, Shamrock and Foley backed up the ramp victorious while Flair checked on Benoit in the ring...

Main Event: Triple H & Kurt Angle v. Goldberg & Booker T v. Chris Jericho & ???.  'ONE! TWO! ZIS ON?!' sounded as the WPW World Heavyweight Champion, 'The Game' Triple H and the WPW Intercontinental Champion, 'The Olympic Gold Medalist' Kurt Angle of The Elite made their way out to the ring.  'INVASION...' hit as Goldberg and Booker T made their way out to the ring.  The Elite cleared out as Goldberg and Booker T came into the ring.  The lights went down and we counted down into 'Break Down The Walls' as "Y2J" Chris Jericho walked out of the entrance and to the ring.  Jericho got up on the apron facing the entrance and pointed as "Awesome" by Reckless Fortune blasted over the PA and MIKE AWESOME headed out as Jericho's partner.  It was Y2J that brought Mike Awesome into WPW.  Goldberg shoved Jericho off the apron to the floor then Triple H and Kurt Angle jumped Goldberg and Booker T to kick off the match.  This would be an intense three way with the crowd on their feet for most of it as six of the biggest stars in WPW were in one ring.  The closing moments of the match would see Booker T and Kurt Angle going at it.  Angle took Booker up top for a belly-to-belly superplex but Booker T shoved Angle down to the canvas then came off with a Missile Dropkick!  Both men were down and crawled towards their corners making hot tags to Triple H and Goldberg.  Triple H caught Goldberg with a high knee.  Angle stomped on Goldberg then Booker T pulled him out of the ring and the two brawled.  Triple H then went for the Pedigree on Goldberg but Goldberg countered it with a backdrop.  Goldberg got into a corner and waited on Triple H to get up.  As he did Jericho made a blind tag.  Goldberg drilled Triple H with the SPEAR!  Jericho came in and hit a Lionsault on Triple H then locked him in the Walls Of Jericho!  Mike Awesome nailed a confused Goldberg with an Awesome Lariat then jumped onto him with a running tope!  Triple H tried to hold on but was in too much pain and TAPPED OUT!  Chris Jericho has made the World Champion tap out!  Jericho and Awesome are your winners!
