WPW U.K. Only PPV - November 10 / 2000 --=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- As World Professional Wrestling hit England for the first
time in a tour centered around the WPW PPV extravaganza, WPW Manchester
Massacre at the MEN Arena in Manchester ... WPW opened up the weekend tour with
a UK Only PPV Event live from Earl's Court in London, England... (1) The Unholy Alliance vs. The F.B.I. - A solid ** 1/4
opener with Tajiri pinning Tony Mamaluke with the Brain Buster in 7:32 for the
win. (2) Scotty Taylor & The Lowdown vs. Brian Christopher
& T&A - Scotty and Lowdown got the win after Lowdown hit their Real
Deal finisher on Test in 11:59. A *
match. Brian Christopher and Scotty
Taylor brawled into the crowd afterwards. (3) Kaz Hayashi (c) vs. Dean Malenko - WPW Television
Title. Malenko got a rematch against
Hayashi and looked to regain his gold but Hayashi reversed a tiger driver with
a huracanrana rollup for the surprise pin in 11:08. A great **** 1/4 match. Malenko attacked Kaz afterwards. (4) The Acolytes vs. Jung Dragons vs. Al Snow & Steve
Blackman. This was a Three Way Dance
rules match. The Acolytes took the win
in a less then spectacular * 1/4 match when Bradshaw nailed Shinzaki with the
Clothesline From Hell at 9:14. (5) Kidman & Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho &
Sting. Sting had the Scorpion Deathlock
on Kidman when Angle entered and DDT'ed Sting out. Jericho came in and clotheslined Angle out of
the ring and hit a springboard bodyblock on him. Kidman hit a Kid Krusher on Sting then put
his feet on the ropes for the pin at 13:57.
A solid ** 1/2 match. Jericho
came back in and cleared the ring of Kidman after. (6) Booker T vs. Mike Awesome vs. Masato Tanaka vs. Eddy
Guerrero. A Fatal Fourway match which
saw Guerrero put through a table early on and out of the match for the majority
of it. Guerrero came back in and nailed
Tanaka with a chair from behind and rolled him up for a fluke pin in
18:38. A good *** match. (7) The Hardy Boyz (c) vs. Latino World Order - WPW World
Tag Team Titles. These are the teams
that will meet at the PPV but they couldn't wait. An amazing **** 1/4 match that saw Eddy
Guerrero come out and distract the referee when a Masked Man came out of the
crowd and laid out Matt Hardy with a steel pipe. Juvy hit the 450 Splash on Hardy to win the
World Tag Team Titles in a shocker at 13:34!
The LWO will now go into Manchester Massacre, the World Tag Team
Champions! (8) Goldberg & Chris Benoit vs. Triple H & Ken
Shamrock. Goldberg would spear and
Jackhammer Shamrock for the pin and the win at 11:40 in a ** match. This decision sent the fans home happy as
Goldberg was over big time as was Chris Benoit. Overall, a great show from Earl's Court in London and a
real treat for the United Kingdom. WPW
heads to Manchester tommorow for Manchester Massacre on worldwide PPV! The card
