NGW Ring Wars - February 11 / 2002

-==-==-==-==-==-==-==-==-==-==-==-==

"Praise" by Sevendust played in the background of the NGW Ring Wars opening sequence which featured a montage of various New Generation Wrestling superstars such as; The Sandman & Too Cold Scorpio, DDP, Chris Kanyon, The Dudley Boyz, Taz, William Regal, Sabu, Raven, Jeff Jarrett, Rob Van Dam, Scott Steiner, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and more.  This is New Generation Wrestling RING WARS...

We entered the arena with Joey Styles and Paul Heyman welcoming us to the show but quickly the arena turned orange as...

["War Machine"]

'The Human Suplex Machine' Taz walked out to the ring, shredded towel over his head.  Taz walked into the ring and took a microphone...

TAZ:  "One week ago, Jeff Jarrett, you lost your United States Heavyweight Title, brotha!  Yeah, sure, you may have the belt but your just keepin' it warm for the one man crime spree ... TAZ!  I'll give you your due Jarrett, you're not just another wrestler, you're a damn good wrestler but you will be JUST ANOTHA VICTIM!  I didn't come here tonight just to talk, I came here tonight lookin' for a fight so if there's anybody back there that thinks they're big and bad enough to get dumped on their head and choked out, just walk ya little ass down that aisle and BEAT ME IF YOU CAN ... SURVIVE IF I LET YOU!"

["Super Bon Bon" by Soul Coughing]

Out of the entrance came the big man, Roadkill along with 'Dastardly' Danny Doring.  Doring was trying to talk Roadkill out of it but Roadkill pushed Doring aside and headed into the ring.  The massive Roadkill has apparently accepted the challenge of the Human Suplex Machine...

Opening Match: Taz v. Roadkill.  A referee got down into the ring and rang the bell signalling the start of the match.  Taz stepped up into Roadkill's face, showing no fear of the big man.  Roadkill opted to attack Taz instead of staring him down.  Taz slugged it out with Roadkill, Roadkill sent Taz into the ropes but Taz exploded off with a big clothesline.  Taz goes for a T-Bone Tazplex but Roadkill elbows him off and throws Taz out of the ring.  Roadkill distracted the referee as Doring tried to attack Taz on the outside but Taz grabbed Doring and threw him with a belly-to-belly Tazplex.  Roadkill blindsided Taz and took control.  Taz and Roadkill battled it out for a couple minutes.  The ending would see Taz go for a german Tazplex but Roadkill was too heavy and elbowed Taz off.  Roadkill sent Taz into the ropes and Dirt Road Slam!  Roadkill covers for the one ... two ... NO! Taz kicked out!  Roadkill can't believe it.  Roadkill headed up top for an Amish Splash but Taz rolled out of the way.  Doring got into the ring and went for a Bareback on Taz but Taz blocked it and hit a Head & Arm Tazplex.  Roadkill charges in with a lariat, Taz ducks and TAZMISSION!  Roadkill taps!  It's over.  Roadkill has become Just Anotha Victim!

WINNER: Taz in 3:17.

Rating: *

Afterwards, Jeff Jarrett snuck into the ring and drilled Taz in the head with his guitar!  Jarrett held his US Heavyweight Title over Taz and said that Taz would never take it from him...

['Sexy Boy']

The NGW Commissioner, 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels stepped out of the entrance and made his way out to the ring.  At the close of last week's show, Michaels promised to fix things.  Will he?

MICHAELS:  "When I put Scott Steiner, William Regal, Rob Van Dam and Stone Cold Steve Austin in one ring last week, I should've known that these ropes couldn't contain those four superstars.  They butted heads and all hell broke loose but I made a promise last week that I would fix that..."

["Hell Yeah" by Disturbed]

The glass shattered interrupting Michaels as 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin headed out into the ring in a foul mood.  The Texas Rattlesnake paced around the ring and took a microphone of his own then got into the Commissioner's face...

AUSTIN:  "Let's get one thing straight right off the bat, right now you've got your eyes locked on the man who took your spot on top of this business, the man that beat you in your last match.  I haven't forgotten and I'm damn sure you haven't forgotten.  Now with that said, what I want to know, just to make sure there's no misunderstanding between us ... Do you have a problem with Stone Cold Steve Austin?"

MICHAELS:  "I've got no problem with you, Stone Cold.  You're right, you did beat me in my last match and you took this business to a whole new level.  Just bare with me for a minute and let me tell you what I have planned."

AUSTIN:  "Spit it out, I don't got all night and it better be good or back injury or no back injury I will stomp a mudhole in your ass and walk it dry!"

MICHAELS:  "At NGW Blazing Glory on February 24th, there will be a rematch from last week with the NGW World Champion 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner teaming with William Regal against 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and Rob Van Dam but this time it will be within the confines of a STEEL CAGE!  There will be no disqualifications, no countouts, no rules, and no escape!"

AUSTIN:  "Let me think about that for a few seconds ... If you wanna see Stone Cold Steve Austin get inside a steel cage and whip Scott Steiner and William Regal's asses, gimme a HELL YEAH! (HELL YEAH!)  That's all fine and well with Stone Cold but looking at my watch, that's thirteen days away so what about tonight!"

MICHAELS:  "Well tonight, Scott Steiner will defend his NGW World Championship against Rob Van Dam ... and here's what I've got for you, Stone Cold.  You'll team up with the World Tag Team Champions, The Sandman and Too Cold Scorpio to face William Regal and The Acolytes."

AUSTIN:  "Then tonight I will officially greet The Acolytes into NGW with a six pack of whoop ass and that's the bottom line ... 'CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!"

With that we headed to break.  Stone Cold teams with The Sandman & Scorpio against Regal & The Acolytes tonight and in our Main Event, Scott Steiner will defend the World Championship against Rob Van Dam!  Whatta night!

Match #2: Devon Storm v. Balls Mahoney - Extreme Rules.  "Terrible Lie" by Nine Inch Nails blared over the speakers as 'Dangerous' Devon Storm from the Flock headed out.  Then, "Big Balls" by AC/DC brought out Balls Mahoney.  This was an 'Extreme Rules' match meaning that anything goes and it did.  Storm and Mahoney used tons of plunder to pound the hell out of each other.  The ending would see Storm go for a brain buster but Balls blocked it and slammed Storm down.  Mahoney grabbed a chair and laid it down on the mat.  Balls picked up Storm for the Nutcracker Suite but Storm dropped down the back and hit the Mind Bender, driving Balls' skull down into the chair for the one ... two ... THREE!  'Dangerous' Devon Storm takes this 'Extreme Rules' match.

D-VON:  "Whether it be Simon Diamond or Swinger or even that bitch, Dawn Marie, sooner then later one or all of them will learn what happens when you mess with The Dudley Boyz..."

The Coach got some comments from the man who will challenge Scott Steiner for the NGW World Championship tonight, 'The Whole F'N Show' Rob Van Dam...

VAN DAM:  "Tonight is not only going to be a great night for RVD but a great night for all the people out there because they get to see their favorite wrestler, Rob Van Dam, kick Big Poppa Dump's ass and take the World Championship.  You're scared Steiner, you're scared because while you may be big and bad, you're not Rob Van Dam!  Its not your fault, I'm an original, a one of a kind, the Whole F'N Show."

Scott Steiner walks out to Van Dam...

STEINER:  "I'd never want to be you, I've got the largest arms in the world, I'm the big bad booty daddy and when I'm done with you, I'll go back to Michigan and give your stank ass momma my whole F'N show!"

VAN DAM:  "You better watch your damn mouth, Steiner..."

STEINER:  "I know I'm gonna beat your ass but I don't want any complaints from you, I don't want you getting disqualified.  Let's make this thing, NO DQ!  Bring your stupid chairs because they're useless against Big Poppa Pump!"

VAN DAM:  "No DQ?  That's cool.  Atleast you won't be able to whine about losing that belt when I knock your teeth out with a Van Daminator..."

SNOW:  "Explain ... I'm beggin' you."

DDP:  "See even someone as positive as DDP gets into a slump and I was in a slump.  I lost to Taz then Sabu the next night but then I hit the Diamond Cutter on you in that six man and BANG!  I'm all better!"

'24 Karat Pictures Presents ... A Shattered Dreams Production ... GOLDUST!'

GOLDUST:  "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist ... Well I do exist and I am more real then he can ever imagine.  Oh, how they love you, it sends a chill racing up and down my spine.  It will be such a thrill to watch your world come crashing down around you when I expose you for what you really are.  When I share the innermost, deepest, most personal details of your life with the world, they will know what I know and there is nothing you can do to stop it.  When they see your demons ... demons so dark, so hateful, so dispicable, not even the desensitized youth of this great nation will be able to look at you the same way.  Your star will fall and for every star that falls one rises in its place and that star, rising ever so bright, will be mine ... I had my dreams shattered before but not this time, no, because when I am done, NO ONE will ever forget the name of .... GOLDUST!"

OH MY GOD!  With Van Dam laying motionless we cut backstage to a shot of Faarooq and Bradshaw stomping away on a busted open Steve Austin.  Back out to the ring, Shawn Michaels had come out with EMTs and security and finally Steiner stopped.  Steiner went out and stood over the motionless Van Dam, holding his World Championship in the air as the show ended...
