Opening Match: Evan Karagias & Jamie Knoble v. The Jung Dragons.  "You Know It's Hard" by Crystal Method blared over the speakers as Evan Karagias & Jamie Knoble headed out to the ring.  Then, "Come Original" by 311 sounded over the speakers as Kaz Hayashi and Jimmy Yang, the Jung Dragons, made their way out to the ring.  Both these teams were on the losing end of their matches last week and were looking to get back on the winning track.  The ending would see Knoble catch Yang with a powerslam then went out to the apron and hit an amazing springboard twisting moonsault!  Kaz Hayashi broke up the pin and hit a series of kicks to the body then a big stiff karate kick to the head!  Evan came at Kaz but Kaz moved and kicked Evan sending him out of the ring.  Kaz then jumped onto Evan with a running 180 plancha!  Kaz took himself out with the move, too.  Yang went for the Corkscrew Moonsault but Knoble rolled out of the way.  Knoble picked up Yang and spiked him with the Tombstone Piledriver for the one ... two ... ["I Am Hated" by SlipKnot]

"Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner headed out of the entrance along with his favorite freak Midajah.  Steiner got into the ring and posed then took a microphone...

STEINER:  "I know all my freaks out there have been deprived of their Big Bad Booty Daddy fix so I came out here a little early to give you a look at a real man.  I'm the one that the people came to see. Not Sabu, because he ain't good enough.  I am the best athlete in the world today.  Look at me, I'm a genetic freak with the largest arms in the world.  If there's anybody that looks better than me in the world, I'd like to see him.  He doesn't exist. Nobody looks as great as Big Poppa Pump.  Big Poppa Pump will run over each and every so called superstar in New Generation Wrestling cause can't nobody top this.  So when I raise that NGW World Championship over my head at Initial Assault you will all know that no one's finer then SCOTT STEINER!"

["Little Crazy" by Fight]

Bill Alfonso, the Manager Of Champions, headed out to the ring blowing his whistle like mad.  Alfonso got right in the ring and took a microphone then got in Steiner's face.

FONZIE:  "Scott Steiner, daddy, you ain't nothing compared to Sabu, daddy!  You better not shoot your mouth off, daddy, cause Sabu's gonna make you eat your words, daddy!  All these people are tired of your ego, daddy, ain't that right? [fans cheer] So why don't you shut your big mouth, daddy, and show what you got in the ring, daddy?!"

Steiner the grabbed Fonzie by the collar and began the bully him, shoving Fonzie around and intimidating him...

STEINER:  "Who the hell do you think you're talking to you little bitch?  You should be down on your knees servicing the next World Champion.  I'll rip your girlfriend Sabu's head right off his shoulder and shove it up your ass you stupid little son of a bitch!"

  -Lights Out-

  -Lights On-

Sabu came off the top with a dropkick on Steiner!  Steiner rolled out of the ring and walked up the ramp screaming threats at Sabu.  Steiner and Sabu will face off later tonight with one of them advancing to Initial Assault...

Match #2: Marc Mero v. Nova. "Superstar" by Saliva blasted over the speakers as 'Marvelous' Marc Mero headed out with his wife Rena Mero.  Then, "Intergalactic" by Beastie Boys blasted over the speakers as Nova made his way out to the ring.  Mero's coming off a loss to Al Snow last week while Nova beat Scott Vick.  Mero decided to try and slow down Nova and brawl with him instead of doing the daredevil moves he did last week.  The ending would see Mero hit a few jabs on Nova then went for a big haymaker but Nova ducked and hit a Novacaine for the one ... two ... THR ... Rena puts Marc's foot on the rope for the break!  Nova argued with the referee and Mero came from behind with a low blow.  Mero cradled up Nova for the one ... two ... THR ...   Taz was shown with a shredded towel over his head...

TAZ:  "William Regal wants to hit me in the head with brass knux?  Good for him, he won, big deal.  Regal, one of the reasons I'm such a miserable son of a bitch is that I carry a grudge and some day, when you least expect it, I will choke your British ass out.  Tonight, my path of rage continues with Chris Kanyon.  Kanyon, you like to say, 'Who bettah than Kanyon?'  I don't know if I'm bettah then Kanyon but I'm the man that's gonna steal your oxygen tonight and choke your ass out.  I'M TAZ.  BEAT ME … IF YOU CAN! Survive … if I let you."

Match #3: Chris Kanyon v. Taz.  "Immune" by Godsmack blasted over the speakers as 'The Innovator' Chris Kanyon headed out to the ring sporting a 'Who Bettah?' T-Shirt.  Kanyon did his act with a few fans as he walked out, riling them up.  Then, "War Machine Survive Mix" by The Slashtones blared over the speakers as 'The Human Suplex Machine' Taz walked out to the ring with the shredded towel over his head.  Taz stood in the corner with his arms crossed while he was announced.  Taz took off the towel and stood there.  The bell rang and Kanyon mocked Taz, crossing his arms.  Kanyon stood on the turnbuckle and did it.  Taz walked over, grabbed Kanyon and dumped him on his head with a german suplex.  Kanyon would never really be the same after that as he seemed a little out of it.  The ending would see Taz hit an overhead belly-to-belly Tazplex!  Taz picked up Kanyon and went for a lariat but Kanyon countered it with a shoulder lift flapjack.  Kanyon hit a swinging fisherman suplex for 2 1/2.  Kanyon then put Taz up in a fireman's carry and walked up the ropes.  Kanyon paused to gloat before he would drive Taz back with a samoan drop but Taz shifted himself and locked Kanyon in the Tazmission!  Kanyon fell backwards but Taz held on then locked Kanyon in a bodyscissors.  Kanyon was trapped and tapped out to the Tazmission!  Taz chokes out Chris Kanyon and scoes the win!

WINNER: Taz in 5:33.

Afterwards, Taz held on for a little bit then let go and walked out of the ring and to the back.  The crowd buzzed more as RAVEN jumped over the guardrail!  Raven rolled into the ring and as Kanyon was holding his throat, trying to catch his breath, Raven spiked him with an Evenflow DDT!  Raven did a crucifix pose then left through the crowd!  What's Raven up to?

["British Doom" by Jim Johnston]

William Regal walked out to the ring in a nice suit.  Regal headed into the ring with a look of distain for the crowd then took a microphone...

REGAL:  "When I look out into this crowd at you filthy American slime you remind me of the man that I must beat at Initial Assault.  That man is some kind of hero to you.  For whatever reason I can't understand you filthy slime go crazy for this vulgar, beer drinking, obscene, rude man.  And then you have the gaul to boo an upstanding, well spoken, well dressed man like myself.  'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, you represent everything that is wrong with all these people.  You need to be stopped and these people need a man like myself that they can look up and pattern themselves after.  That is exactly why I'm going to beat the bloody hell out of you, sunshine."

["Hell Yeah" by Disturbed]

The crowd exploded as the glass shattered and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin headed out of the entrance.  Austin headed into the ring and went up the four corners then grabbed a microphone...

AUSTIN:  "I'm sittin' back there minding my own business drinking a beer ... What?  Two beers ... What? Three beers ... What? Four beers ... What? Five beers ... What? SIX BEERS!  And I hear you coming out here and talking trash about 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.  Seeing as you like running your mouth so much, I figured I'd come out here and see if you had anything to say to Stone Cold Steve Austin's face.  What?  You got somethin' to say about Stone Cold then say it to my face."

REGAL:  "You're a bloody disgrace to this industry..."

AUSTIN:  "What?"

REGAL:  "I said you're a bloody disgrace..."

AUSTIN:  "What?"

REGAL:  "Listen you miserable toerag if you don't stop that I'll..."

AUSTIN:  "You'll do what?  I hate to rain on your parade, Willie, but I've got a six pack of whoop ass with your name on it."

Austin dropped the microphone and drilled Regal with a left hand.  Austin pounded on Regal.  Regal kneed Austin in the midsection then momentarily wore into Austin but Austin came back and pounded down Regal in the corner and stomped a mudhole in him.  Austin played to the crowd and didn't see Regal reach into his pocket.  Austin picked up Regal and went for a Stunner but Regal drilled Austin right in the head with the brass knux knocking him down and out.  Regal then locked Austin in the Regal Stretch adding insult to injury.  Regal got up and adjusted his tie and left the ring.  William Regal has laid out Stone Cold...

Match #4: Jeff Jarrett v. Jason Jett - NGW United States Heavyweight Title Tournament - Semi-Finals.  "Cowboy" by Kid Rock blasted over the speakers as 'The Chosen One' Jeff Jarrett headed out to the ring.  Jarrett failed to advance in the World Title Tournament but tonight had the chance to go onto Initial Assault to wrestle Al Snow for the vacant US Heavyweight Title.  Then, "Ultra Mega" by Powerman 5000 blared over the speakers as 'Skyfire' Jason Jett made his way out.  Jett had a big chance here against the veteran Jarrett and he was eager to make good on it.  Jett showed off his unorthodox offense which kept Jarrett off balance.  The ending would see Jarrett go for a single arm DDT but Jett elbowed him off and hit a sitout powerbomb followed by a standing moonsault for the one ... two ... THR ... NO! NO! NO! Jarrett kicked out!  Jett picked up Jarrett and went for his ropeflip clothesline but Jarrett ducked and hit the Stroke!  Jarrett covered for the one ... two ...   The Coach got some comments from 'The Whole F'N Show' Rob Van Dam...

COACH:  "Rob Van Dam, in just a few minutes you go one-on-one with Diamond Dallas Page and the winner of that faces the winner of Big Poppa Pump-Sabu at Initial Assault.  What're your thoughts on those three men?

VAN DAM:  "Well you've got Diamond Dallas Page who thinks he's helping people ... that's cool.  You've got Fonzie going nuts and Sabu being suicidal, I dig that .... that's cool.  Then you've got Scott Steiner claiming all the people came to see him ... that's cool but Coach, come on, you these people came to see everybody's favorite wrestler ... ROB .. VAN .. DAM!  I've got no doubts that I'll be the first NGW World Champion because I'm not a role model ... an icon ... a showstopper ... no ... I'm the WHOLE F'N SHOW, I'm ... "

Diamond Dallas Page walked into the scene and cut RVD off...

PAGE:  "D ... D ... P ... It's me ... it's me ... DDP, Diamond Dallas Page (smile).  Rob Van Dam, a lot of the other wrestlers may not like that you're so self-confident but no me because I think positive and being self-confident isn't a bad thing ... its a good thing!  Because it'll be much easier for you to pick yourself up off the mat when you walk right into the Diamond Cutter (smile)."

  DDP walked off...

COACH:  "What's his deal?"

VAN DAM:  "See that big smile?  See this foot ruin that smile..."

Match #5: Diamond Dallas Page v. Rob Van Dam - NGW World Heavyweight Title Tournament - Quarterfinals.  "Helping Hand" by StainD blared over the speakers as 'DDP' Diamond Dallas Page made his way out to the ring.  Then, "Walk" by Pantera brought the crowd to their feet as 'The Whole F'N Show' Rob Van Dam headed out to the ring.  Rob Van Dam is without a doubt one of the most popular wrestlers in NGW.  Despite DDP's grating antics, he's still a former World Champion in wrestling and should not be underestimated in the ring.  DDP tried to contain RVD's high impact offense in this one.  The ending would see Van Dam go for a roundhouse kick but DDP ducked and hit a short lariat.  DDP went for a power bomb but Van Dam countered it with a DDT!  Van Dam followed that up with a Rolling Thunder for one ... two ... thr ...
