--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- NGW Animosity - May 26 / 2002 --=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- All-State Arena in Chicago, IL --=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- "Ride Of
Your Life" by Nuerotica played in background of a video montage
highlighting the events leading up to the main matches here tonight at NGW
ANIMOSITY. Tonight; Sabu offered his
respect to Devon Storm but Storm doesn't want it, all he needs is the respect
of Raven but tonight Sabu has vowed to beat some respect into 'Dangerous' Devon
Storm in a RESPECT MATCH. Goldust has
targeted The Sandman's family and ripped the lid off The Sandman's personal
life, going public with very private details but tonight the Final Curtain will
be drawn as Goldust and The Sandman go at it one last time in a FINAL CURTAIN
MATCH. Chris Kanyon and 'The Dark Angel'
Vampiro traded tough wins in recent weeks prompting a rubber match to be signed
for tonight, who will come out on top?
The Dudley Boyz must put the NGW World Tag Team Titles on the line
against Simon Diamond and Swinger and they have vowed to not only retain those
titles but put Dawn Marie through a table.
Raven and Saturn. Two men
consumed with hate for the other. Raven
has ducked Saturn the best he can but there's nowhere to go tonight as Raven
must step into a Falls Count Anywhere match with Saturn. Who is the real master of the Frog
Splash? Eddy Guerrero screwed Rob Van
Dam out of a World Championship shot and claimed that Van Dam has stolen his
Frog Splash. RVD thinks that Guerrero is
just jealous because he can't hit the Frog Splash like 'The Whole F'n
Show'. Two times, 'The Chosen One' Jeff
Jarrett has barely escaped with his NGW United States Heavyweight Title against
Taz. To walk out of Chicago with the US
Heavyweight Title in tact, he must not only win but he must do the unthinkable
and make Taz SUBMIT. From there the
rematch that NGW fans have been waiting for ever since Initial Assault, 'Big
Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner walks into Animosity as an indestructable champion
but has Big Poppa Pump met his match in 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Will Steiner's reign of terror continue or
will the reign of AUstin 3:16 begin tonight?

And he can thank Chris Jericho. WINNER: Scott Steiner in 16:45. Rating: *** (Scott Steiner retained the NGW World Championship.) Afterwards, Scott Steiner got up and raised the World Championship in the air while Chris Jericho backed up the aisleway. Stone Cold was coming too and locked eyes with Jericho. Chris Jericho has made an enormous impact here tonight but there will be hell to pay because Jericho didn't screw any man, he screwed Stone Cold Steve Austin out of the World Championship. We're outta time, we'll see you tommorow night on what should be a Ring Wars for the ages! |
